
Yoga on the retreat
What kind of yoga will we practice at Nourish?
In Lisa’s classes, we bring the focus to our presence and breath rather than how far we can push ourselves into each pose. In the morning class, we will flow, but we move a little slower than a normal vinyasa class. Don’t be fooled by slowness - moving slower and more consciously can actually be much harder than doing 100 vinyasas quickly. So my classes can still be challenging at points, but I love to balance the strength of the class with a sense of softness too.
The evening practices will be about restoring & calming - we will have a yin yoga class, a restorative yoga class, yoga nidra and a sound healing session. Although these classes are much softer, they are hugely powerful in settling the nervous system and releasing stress.
The classes are intimate (maximum 8 guests) and will be tailored to the participants in the group, so don’t let “I’m not good at yoga” stop you from coming…The classes will be suitable for all levels, including beginners & I truly believe, yoga is not about being good at the practice, it's about being good to yourself ✨
Lisa has 10 years of experience teaching yoga both locally & internationally and is a 500hr+ qualified teacher.
